年次 is a Japanese noun meaning “annual” in English. It can also be translated as “year (e.g. of graduation, joining a company), nth year (student, employee, etc.)” depending on context. It is written as 年次 in kanji, ねんじ in hiragana, and nenji in romaji. This word is part of JLPT N2 vocabulary.
